CUSTOM PHOTO CARD ORDERING... HOW IT WORKS
1) Select a design that exactly or closely resembles what you would like for your own design. Keep in mind that we are willing and able to change all aspects of a design; from the colors, to the wording, the photo style, and the fonts. Just type it in the "note" section of the order form. You can also choose to have a custom card designed. Let us know what you have in mind and we will create it!
2) Visit our Photo Card Ordering page to submit your request. A reply will be sent within 24 hours to confirm your request. We will also let you know of any additional information required. Please email all photos to photos@sayitonpaper.net. (see FAQ page for photo requirements) If you need to send in a physical photo, email us for more information. Your photo(s) will be returned with your order.
3) Once we have received your information and photos, you will receive an email proof for viewing within 24-48 hours.
4) Make any necessary changes at this step. We are happy to make any adjustments needed so you get a unique and beautiful card that you will be excited to share with family and friends! (We will not go to print until you provide us with a final approval.)
5) Once the design meets your approval you will be asked to submit payment. Make your payment through PayPal (a PayPal invoice will be emailed to you) or by sending a check or money order (to the address on the invoice). After your payment has been received your order will go to print and ship within 7-10 days. You cannot cancel your order once approval is given and payment has been made.

Is there a minimum amount of cards I can order?
The minimum order is 25 cards.
Do I pay sales tax on my order?
Sales tax of 8.75% is charged to all orders shipped within in the State of Louisiana. All other states are exempt from sales tax.
What if I have a question before I want to order?
Feel free to call or e-mail us with any questions before you place your order. We will get back to you with a timely response.
Will my order come with envelopes?
Yes. All orders include white envelopes.
What kind of paper are the announcements printed on?
Our custom photo cards are printed on professional quality matte finish photo paper OR high quality glossy cardstock. Thank you cards are printed on high quality glossy cardstock.
Are these the only designs I can choose from?
No. Each order is custom and if you do not want to go with a design in our gallery just select "custom" in the design section on our order page. We will work with you to design a unique design especially for you at no extra charge. Custom designs can be made for any occasion including wedding, save the date, holiday, birth, birthday invitation, themed party, adoption announcement, christening, bar mitzvah, anything.
Can a design be changed to accommodate my specific situation?
Yes. All designs can be modified to accommodate twins, adoption, or any other occasion.

I can't figure out what to say on my invitation. Can you help?
We are glad to help with wording your invitation or announcement. Just write "help with wording" in the wording section when you order followed by the general information for the card (name, dates, addresses, etc.) and we will email you some suggestions. Does your party/occasion have theme? Let us know for more specific wording suggestions for your occasion.
How long does it take to get my announcements?
Once we have the photo and all information, you will receive a digital proof usually within 2-3 business days. Once you approve the proof, it will take about 5 to 7 business days until the order is ready to ship. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and will take 3-5 days to arrive to you. (Visit our pricing page for shipping charges.) We do our best to provide you with quality and fast service. For the quickest turnaround, please respond promptly to our emails.
Do you offer local pickup?
If you are in the New Orleans/St. Tammany area, we can offer local pickup at a prearranged location.
What kind of picture should I use?
You can use a color or black and white photo, either digital or physical. If you have a color photo but want the announcement photo to be black and white, we can convert it for you, along with making any contrast/brightness/cropping adjustments. Please be sure to specify if you have a preference of your photo appearing black & white or in color (otherwise we will do what we think goes with the style you picked).
Can I use professional photographs?
Yes, with written consent from the photographer. If they grant permission they will have a form that can be forwarded to us. We would need this form via us mail, email is not acceptable.
Should I alter the photo first before sending to you?
We prefer that you don't. We will make any necessary adjustments and cropping to the photo to make it look its very best. Please don't crop the photo, as this will affect the way it appears on your announcement. We are able to crop, sharpen, reduce red-eye, and make color photos black & white. If there is anything specific that you would like done to a photo before it is used, such as having a specific part cropped out or fixing a blemish, please just note that in the email with your photos.
How do I send a digital photo?
Set your digital camera to the highest quality setting. Save the file with at least a 300 dpi as either a .jpg, or .tif file. 300 dpi is ideal, but the higher the image quality, the better. Once your photo is received we will evaluate it and let you know via email if the photo is acceptable. E-mail the file to us at photos@sayitonpaper.net
I don't have a digital camera. How do I send you a picture?
If you have access to a scanner, scan your photo at 300 dpi and save it as a .jpg or .tif file. Then you can e-mail the file to us. If you prefer to send a physical photo, we will provide you with our mailing address and you can mail it to us. Your original photo will be returned with your final order.
Do I get a proof before my announcement is printed?
Yes. We require your approval of a proof on all custom photo announcement orders before processing. You will receive a digital proof of your announcement via e-mail. Any changes can be made at that time, and a revised proof will be sent. Once you approve the proof, it is final and goes to print. Carefully check the proof for any mistakes, we are not responsible for any errors once the proof is approved.
Do the announcements require extra postage?
No. All of our photo cards require a standard postage stamp.
Do you ship to Canada?
No. Sorry, we are unable to ship to Canada at this time.
What if I want to order more announcements later?
We keep all designs on disk in the event you need more. There is a minimum order of 25 cards.
What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept money orders, personal checks and PayPal funds. We also accept debit/credit cards through PayPal. Orders are not processed until payment is received.
Do I need a PayPal membership in order to pay with PayPal?
No. You will receive a PayPal invoice via email. You can pay securely with a credit card through PayPal without signing up for membership.
Can I cancel my order?
Completed orders are non-refundable. You can cancel up to the proof approval stage with no penalty, but once the proof is approved, cancellation requests will not be permitted and the full fee will be charged.
What if there is an error on the final photocard?
Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Please notify us immediately if there are any problems with your order. If there is a mistake made by us, after you have approved the final card, we will rush new cards to you at no charge. If you have approved the final proof, and you made an error (spelling or anything else), we will gladly re-print and ship new cards to you at 50% off the regular price plus shipping. We may ask you to return the original shipment. We require that you notify us within five (5) days of receiving your order.
